Most people think that part of what I do as a Realtor is to find the home that checks all of the boxes on a buyer's list. Would it surprise you to know that most buyers have been searching and scrolling on-line months before they connect with and hire an agent to represent them?
Sonia is an agent in my office who doesn't work in the City. She has referred me to clients in the past who are planning a purchase in the City. When she called me just after Labor Day, I was happy to hear that she has another client in the suburbs who wants to explore life in the City. Sonia connected me with "E" via text. It is a great way to make an introduction! "E" and I spoke on the phone, she explained that while she owned her townhome in the suburb, she did not have to sell it to buy another property. She secured a preapproval from her lender, sent me a handful of condos in her preferred neighborhood and we planned a showing tour. While we only saw 4 condos....the first one set the bar high. “E”'s top priority was a water view....either river or lake.....water. Not the concrete jungle that can be the city view. Condo #1 had BOTH a river view to the north from the balcony AND a lake view from the living room and the primary bedroom through floor to ceiling windows! Bonus features are 2 en- suite bedrooms and a powder room for when she hosts. The new kitchen appliances coming are yet another win!
Why do people move? They move to experience life at a different level....for "E" it will be from the 17th floor!
We just officially closed today! Cheers to 'E' and her incredible new view from the 17th floor—welcome to city living!
