✈️ Getting ready to head north? Before you lock the door and leave your Florida home behind, make sure these important tasks are on your checklist.

✔️ Set your thermostat to control humidity levels between 75F - 78F.
✔️ Unplug unnecessary electronics.
✔️ Empty the refrigerator of perishable foods.
✔️ Secure all doors, windows, and lanai areas.
✔️ Arrange a pest control treatment before leaving,
✔️ Remove outdoor furniture or secure loose items.
✔️ Check your hurricane preparedness supplies and plan.
✔️ Make sure smoke detectors and security systems are working properly.
✔️ Hire a trusted Home Watch professional to inspect your property regularly while you’re away.
