Don’t judge, I had to jump on this trend just for funsies… and I’m dying because why is it actually so accurate?!

Meet Scout — my little “Port Dawg” sidekick who is apparently always on the hunt for great homes, great deals, and brighter futures four our veteran friends.

Honestly, if my personality had a mascot, a sunglasses-wearing dachshund scouting out real estate deals feels pretty dang fitting. 😂

Eeeek! I’ve capped!!

When I was interviewing brokerages in 2025, I landed with Epique Realty for their incredible 85/15 commission split with a declining cap. Last year I capped on my anniversary week but I still got to keep 100% of my commission on my last sale of the year which happened to be my biggest ever.

This year, I capped my commission split with my brokerage after just 4 months, which means for the next 8 months, I’ll keep 100% of my commission before my annual reset!

In our unpredictable real estate market where it feels like we’re working 2-3 times as hard for the same results, I’ve become even more intentional about making every dollar I earn go further. Capping means I can afford to continue to give back through Homes for Heroes while still supporting my family, helping Gary access the best treatment options available to him, and having the flexibility to slow down when life requires it.

2026 has blessed our family in ways I could have never anticipated. I’m eternally grateful for every client, partner, friend and family member who continues to trust, support and recommend me.

Most of all, I’m grateful to God for continuing to open doors and place incredible people in my path. I’ll keep singing His praises while giving back and serving our Florida Emerald Coast veteran community with all I’ve got.

Life lately.

I don’t take many days off, but when my stepdaughter came all the way from Washington with our precious 14-month-old grandson, I took off as much time as I could to soak it all in.

We got family photos, went to the beach, spent a day at the Gulf Breeze Zoo, celebrated Shaylyn and Jessie’s birthdays, and did a whole lot of just hanging out together. Nothing extravagant. Just quality time, baby giggles, family, and memories we’ll treasure forever.

Then they headed home and Gary and I went from Gigi + Pawpaw mode straight into WORK MODE.

We spent one full day assembling furniture and another staging my new listing. And BOY was it worth it. The market ate it up, and that baby is closing in TWO DAYS! More to come on that one.

August was interesting for real estate, too. I only had ONE closing, but y’all…it was an EPIC one. A VA loan assumption that took every bit of 99 DAYS to get across the finish line. Whew, it was a doozie, but WE GOT IT DONE!

With only one closing, I truly didn’t expect to make the leaderboard. But what do ya know, ya girl came pulling up the rear, plus voted #1 Realtor by my husband.

What you don’t always see behind those monthly numbers is everything happening in the background. I’ve been blessed to have 5 homes under contract, spread between September and October.

And I think that’s what this season keeps reminding me of: not everything has to happen all at once to know things are moving in the right direction.

I was able to take a knee, step away from work, and be PRESENT with my family. Then when it was time to get back to work, we were rip-roaring and ready to go.

I just can’t get over how much God continues to provide for our family in ways I simply can’t explain.

Life isn’t perfect behind the curtain. It’s busy. It’s messy. Boy is it chaotic sometimes. It requires a whole lot of patience and faith.

But man, I am grateful for it ALL. All the glory to God!

It all started with a consultation call from Savannah. We immediately clicked and hit the ground running.
