I loved seeing so many of "my people" there today to celebrate this incredible addition to the Midway community. ๐Ÿ’š

Today didn't quite go as planned.

I missed out on several events today, including one that I was REALLY looking forward to attending. Unfortunately, migraines have a way of stopping you in your tracks. Ever since my traumatic brain injury from my car accident, I occasionally get some pretty severe migraines and today was one of those days.

But even on the tough days, life keeps moving forward... and so does real estate! ๐ŸŽ‰

I am beyond excited to share that my buyer is officially ๐”๐๐ƒ๐„๐‘ ๐‚๐Ž๐๐“๐‘๐€๐‚๐“ on his very first home! ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ”‘ There is something so special about helping someone achieve homeownership for the first time, and I couldn't be happier for him.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a day off โ€” it is a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of those who gave everything for this country and for all of us.

As the wife of a veteran, I understand that freedom is never free. Behind every fallen hero is a family forever changed, and today we remember them as well. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

If you have a rescue dog, then you already knowโ€ฆ you have an AMAZING dog. My Charley โ€œMurphyโ€ is my rescue baby, and from the very first moment I laid eyes on him, I knew he was meant to be part of our family. He absolutely completed our home.

He is the biggest dorky goofball, and I adore him. He dreams every single night โ€” and trust me, we ALL know it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ He loves chasing balls, swimming and playing in the water, and gets ridiculously excited anytime someone comes to visit.

Rescue dogs have a special kind of love. If youโ€™re thinking about getting a dog, PLEASE consider adopting. There are so many incredible animals waiting for their forever families, and they truly are the best. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’•

Today was such a gift. ๐Ÿ’™

When I first started putting the Paws & Papers event together, I honestly was not sure how it was going to go. But once again, my office and the people of Navarre showed up in the best way possible. I could not be happier with the turnout and the support we received today.

We had 5โ€“6 adoptions, several additional applications submitted for other dogs, and even the bunnies got lots of love and attention. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฐ

A huge thank you to my office crew (my peeps โค๏ธ) for coming together and making everything run so smoothly, my husband (because he is just THE BEST), Highway Country โ€” especially Scott Mallory, who absolutely rocks โ€” my broker Nick Brown for always supporting these events, and all of the amazing rescues who took the time to come out today.
