Some speakers inspire you. Others are just plain awesome! She is also an USAF academy grad!
Today at my PCS Pay It Forward Retreat real estate conference, I had the incredible opportunity to hear astronaut Nichole “Vapor” Ayers share her story—and as a fellow veteran, this one hit a little differently.
Listening to her talk about her journey from serving our country to becoming an astronaut was absolutely incredible. Her story was a powerful reminder of what discipline, resilience, courage, and refusing to put limits on yourself can lead to.
As a military spouse we learn pretty quickly that the mission changes throughout life. For me, that mission eventually became real estate, serving my community, and especially helping military families navigate one of the biggest transitions of their lives.
For Nichole, that journey ultimately took her all the way to SPACE. 👩🚀🌎

And seriously… how often do you get to say you spent part of your real estate conference listening to someone who has literally been to SPACE?! 🤯🚀
