Foreclosure is scary. Bankruptcy is overwhelming. And trying to figure out what your options are while your home, finances, and future feel uncertain can be incredibly stressful.
But here’s what many people don’t realize:
**Just because a property is in foreclosure does NOT mean it cannot be sold.**
As a licensed REALTOR® with my SFR® — Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource designation — and over 15 solid years of experience as a bankruptcy paralegal, I understand the ins and outs of foreclosure, short sales, bankruptcy, and even selling a property while IN bankruptcy (yes it is possible, yes I have done it).
