Yesterday’s closing was one I won’t forget. ❤️
My sweet friend Michelle and her daughter have truly been through so much over the past 23 months. After going through a divorce, they were hit with another unexpected challenge—a toilet leak overnight that caused over $60K in damage to their home. What should have been a 4-month repair turned into 10 long months. During that time, they shared a single room at her sister’s house.
We were able to get their home sold last July, but the search for the right next home took time. Michelle had her heart set on building, but we just couldn’t find the perfect lot. Then, out of nowhere, the perfect home hit the market—built by the very builder she loved. The sellers had taken incredible care of it and added beautiful updates, making it an easy “yes.”
Her biggest goal through all of this was simple: to give her daughter her own space for her senior year. And now, that dream is a reality.
Michelle, I’m so proud of you and so happy for this fresh start for you and Livi. You’ve handled every obstacle with strength and grace, and you deserve every bit of this new beginning.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this happen:
