🚧 Another challenge Palisadians are facing after the Palisades Fire: damaged roads and growing potholes.

The extreme heat from the fire, combined with months of heavy truck traffic carrying concrete, lumber, and dirt, has taken a toll on local streets. In some areas, road surfaces have dropped several inches, creating hazards for drivers and increasing the risk of tire, wheel, and suspension damage.

This example on Akron Street highlights what many residents are experiencing throughout Pacific Palisades as rebuilding continues.

While repairs are underway in some locations, many homeowners and drivers are hoping to see faster progress before more vehicles are damaged.

A troubling issue is emerging in the Palisades. Contractors and subcontractors are reportedly dumping dirt on cleared residential lots instead of taking it to approved disposal sites.
