Another wonderful WHIPS (Women Helping in Pagosa Springs) gathering in the books! πŸ’› Despite the blustery weather, we enjoyed a fantastic afternoon supporting local families, celebrating scholarship recipients, and continuing to make a positive impact in our community.

This month we raised money for a couple whose home had a fire in Aspen Springs and we had an update on the two young ladies that earned our scholarships for 2026. One from Valor Academy and the other from our local High School both have turned their lives around and are doing a great job. Our 2027 scholarship fund is looking for two new candidates, so please let us know if you have any Juniors in mind!

Our lunch was fantastic and served by Sara, Chef Patrick and Jessica from Chef’s Custom Cusine food truck by the bell tower on Lewis Street. Absolutely delicious and a great menu. Everyone enjoyed the food and they did an incredible job. Serving a group of over 30 women is not easy, but it was seamless!

Thank you to all the incredible women of WHIPS who continue showing up to help lift others up in Pagosa Springs. Your generosity truly makes a difference.
