This felt like one of those milestone moments we’ll remember forever ~ playing a full round of golf together as a family at twilight, cruising around in two golf carts, just enjoying playing together.

We weren’t sure how Ambrose would do, but he completely surprised us. Every single time we stopped the carts, he hopped out ready to hit a ball or two like he’d been doing it his whole life. The boys stayed engaged until the very end, and we ended up closing down the course together. There’s something really special about watching your kids grow in ability and maturity in real time and seeing your investments in them bearing fruit. It’s really, really rewarding and energizes us to be more intentional about what we are guiding them in.
