Holt Construction completed the fit-outs of new Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s locations within Terminal 8 at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The projects included full demolition and construction of the new food and beverage spaces, featuring custom millwork and back-of-house service areas. Working within an active airport terminal, Holt carefully coordinated construction and completed disruptive work during off-hours to minimize impacts to ongoing operations.

Today, on National Intern Day, we recognize the future of our industry and the talented interns who are gaining hands-on experience across Holt Construction.

From the jobsite, where they're working alongside project engineers and superintendents, to our offices, where they're learning estimating, preconstruction, and tools like Procore, our interns are experiencing every stage of the construction process. They're shadowing project managers, observing field operations, and developing the knowledge and skills that will shape tomorrow's builders.
