Good morning. The weather this morning in Gulf Breeze is appropriately somber. On this rainy moring we take a moment to mourn all of those lost in our country on 9/11 2001. The hatred of those who committed these evil acts and drove them to kill thousands of people from over 100 countries was, and is, abhorrent. Don't let evil in! Be kind, return evil with kindness. This is a HARD thing to do so begin with putting the love of Jesus in your heart so you will have His strength immediately available when evil comes to your door.
At 8:46 A.M. the first plane hit the towers and changed our world. As the sun rises this morning we remember the 343 firefighters, the first responders and all the people who who perished that morning.
This firefighter flag flies on our home for 1 day a year. I am immensely proud of my 30+ year career as a firefighter. I have worked with, and have a shared brotherhood with, some wonderful people. We always made a joke - I am a firefighter π¨βπ How smart can I be. I make a living running into buildings and places everyone else is running away from π¨βπ
Please take a moment and pray for all of the families who lost people that day and in the years since from illnesses they got on the days following the attacks working to find trapped people and recover the bodies of those lost.
God bless you and God bless πΊπ²

Ephesians 6:10-13
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
