I’m incredibly proud to have played a small part in bringing another business to Perry! From the moment we walked through this building, we knew it was the perfect place for the adventure my clients had in mind.

And now, it’s officially theirs! Soon this building will have new life as an ice cream shop, something I think will be a great addition to our town and another place for local families to enjoy.
I’m especially excited because these are repeat clients who trusted me once again to help them make their next dream a reality. There’s nothing better than watching clients grow, take chances, invest in our community, and turn an idea into something real.

SOLD!

I'm excited to share that I had the privilege of representing the purchase of the former skating rink in Perry.

This building will soon become the future home of Grace & Truth Ministries, a local church that has outgrown its current space and is continuing to serve more families in our community.

Every property has a story, and this one could have gone in many different directions. One possibility being discussed was converting it into another storage facility. Instead, it will become a place where people can gather, kids and students can build friendships, families can find support, and our community can continue to grow together.

I know this building holds a lot of memories for many people. I spent time there growing up too. Change is never easy, especially when it's tied to something so many of us remember. My hope is that this next chapter creates just as many meaningful memories for future generations.

Congratulations to Grace & Truth Ministries on this exciting milestone. I'm honored to have been a small part of helping make it happen.

Thank you to everyone involved for trusting me with such a special project.

Every real estate transaction is different, and some require a little more creativity, persistence, and teamwork than others. This closing involved coordinating through probate, working with attorneys and the title company, navigating multiple moving parts, and keeping everyone focused on reaching the finish line.

A huge thank you to my The American Dream North Florida teammate Daryn Quick Wiles, Realtor for your professionalism, patience, and willingness to work together every step of the way. Deals like this remind me that the best outcomes happen when everyone is committed to finding solutions.

An honest question for Taylor County.

A lot of people have strong opinions about growth, and I understand why.
Some don't want a data center.
Some don't want a turnpike.
Some don't want large retirement communities.
Some don't want anything that could impact our hunting, fishing, woods, rivers, or small-town way of life.

I respect those concerns.

But after the hurricanes, the mill closure, the loss of jobs, and the pressure on our tax base, I think we also need to ask ourselves an important question:
What do we want?

As someone who lives here, works here, raises a family here, and sells real estate here, I want Taylor County to keep its identity. I don't want us to become just another crowded Florida town.
At the same time, I want my children to have the opportunity to build a life here if they choose to. I want them to be able to find good jobs, buy a home, raise a family, and stay close to the people they love.

And I imagine many of you want the same thing for your children and grandchildren.
If we say "no" to every opportunity, what is the plan for creating jobs, growing our tax base, supporting our schools, funding our services, and giving future generations a reason to stay?

This isn't an argument for any particular project.
It's a genuine question:
What kind of growth would you support in Taylor County?
What industries?
What businesses?
What investments?
What opportunities?

Because if we don't want certain things, that's okay… but we need to be willing to talk about what we do want.

What a great day supporting these young men as they put in the work this summer preparing for the upcoming football season. Early mornings, long workouts, and a commitment to getting better every single day don't go unnoticed.

At The American Dream we believe in investing in our community, and that starts with supporting the next generation of leaders, athletes, and young men. It was an honor to help feed the Dawgs and spend some time with a group that's representing Taylor County the right way.

Good luck to the coaches and players as they continue the grind. We're all rooting for you this fall!
