The pools are officially closed, wrapping up another wonderful summer along the Delaware River. Whether it was hot and sunny or quick showers were rolling through, you could bet your bottom dollar residents were outside enjoying the water, relaxing on the sundeck, and catching up with neighbors.

There were so many new faces this year loving the fun in the sun. Some spent their afternoons lounging around the heated pool, while others preferred the cool waters of the lap pool. Between residents basking under the warm sunshine and others chatting under the umbrella tables, there were smiles everywhere you looked.

While Labor Day weekend marks the end of pool season, life at Delaire Landing stays active all year round. Our community offers a busy social calendar filled with clubhouse activities, card games, clubs, and planned day trips. The Real Estate Secrets Nobody Mentions: True Connections

I was once challenged to write a post explaining how to succeed in real estate in just 53 words.

That is nearly impossible. Real Estate isn’t just about contracts, negotiations, or closing deals—it takes patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of people, their hopes, and their fears.

Buying or selling a home is often the most significant financial decision a person makes in their lifetime. Clients naturally feel uncertain, and conflicting information can quickly make them anxious. They don’t just need an agent; they need someone steady in their corner who listens, cuts through the noise, and assures them everything will turn out fine. Whenever I make big life decisions, I want someone in my corner to guide me—which is why I make it my personal mission to be available for my buyers and sellers every single step of the way.

Success also comes down to the extraordinary people who touch our lives. Over decades in this business, I have formed meaningful partnerships, learned invaluable lessons, and built lifelong friendships—especially right here within the ActiveRain community.

A while back, I lost my dearest friend, Diane. We became instant friends forty years ago when we were both starting in real estate. Diane later ventured into the title business, founded her own company, and could clear complex title issues like nobody else in the industry.

While attending Rain Camp, we took a break during lunch to visit Macy’s in New York City for an unforgettable shoe-shopping excursion. Watching this video at the end of this brings her vibrant, joyful spirit right back to life.

How do I define my success? It’s simple: I have been blessed by the people who have walked beside me.

I see it every time a client places their trust in me to guide them home. I still smile remembering the wonderful buyers who worried they hadn't found the right house after touring three properties. I enjoy helping people buy and sell homes I guess that is why I chose the name HelpfulHannah so many years ago. It all started when I took a seminar and learned that the internet was the wave of the future and that securing a domain name was essential. I remember heading straight back to the office to help everyone pick out their email addresses, urging them to invest in a computer and set up a website.

Fast forward to today, and having that technology in our pocket is a necessity. Even better, our phones now come equipped with built-in AI assistants. If you haven't explored yours yet, it's ready and waiting to help with just about anything

I find myself using it all the time in daily life. Just the other day while grocery shopping, I decided to bake an applesauce cake. I simply asked my phone for the full ingredient list right there in the aisle.

While browsing the shelves, I wondered if dried cranberries would work instead of traditional raisins.

In seconds, it gave me the exact substitution ratios, and the cake turned out absolutely delicious.

AI has become just as valuable in my real estate business.

In fact, our MLS systems are actively integrating artificial intelligence tools to streamline our daily workflow.



Having worked in real estate since 1984, the technological evolution over the decades has been nothing short of incredible. I used to flip through massive, heavy MLS books just to pull property records; now, AI scans and organizes that data in seconds. While we love the look of freshly mowed lawns, they are a nightmare for allergy sufferers. The lawn mowers are releasing high levels of pollen into your sinuses and throat. If you are feeling incredibly tired, headache, and completely drained, you aren't imagining things.

Systemic inflammation leads to "allergy fatigue" and intense sinus pressure headaches.

Grass Pollen: High (This is your main culprit right now, and the lawn mowers are actively kicking these grass allergens straight into the air).

Tree Pollen: Low (The worst of the tree pollen has wrapped up for the year).

W**d Pollen & Mold: Low. When Will It Subside? Light at the end of the tunnel, but you'll have to hang in there for a few more weeks.
