Not bad for a 2x community college dropout from Fresno. Didn’t pan out, but still.

You wouldn’t think that autism & the biggest city we’ve got would play nicely. You’d be surprised.

New York - despite its challenges - is a truly special place. That doesn’t mean I love what it made me into.

I miss Her now & again. And the city, too.

One thing I learned the hard way about dating with autism? Even the perfect girl won’t “fix me”.

Deep seated insecurity isn’t something that goes away just because we’ve been on a couple dates & she’s crazy about me.

Finding a way to love, value, and believe in myself was a prerequisite to me having a stable & loving relationship. It was just way too easy to sabotage yourself when I thought they were just pretending to like me!

I didn’t need to be perfect to date, but it really helped to start getting my mental health in order.

The McDonald’s Pounder is one of my favorite discoveries of all time.

The numbers don’t support this anymore but there was a brief, glorious period when I could get back at my local franchisee for the ice cream machine always being broken.

It was stupid. It was petty. It was beautiful.
