Fall in Florida looks a little different, and honestly, we're not complaining. 😎🌴

Halloween is almost here, neighbors! 🎃👻

We put together five quick tips to keep the season fun and safe for everyone in our community. Flameless candles give you the same cozy glow without the fire risk. Your front door is your canvas, so let's keep breezeways, walkways, and stairwells clear. Smoke detectors and sprinkler heads stay decoration free, always. If you're doing pumpkins, painting is the way to go here in Tampa, since the humidity makes carved ones go soft fast (and a tray saves your floors) 🍂 Finally, extra knocks and costumes can be a lot for our furry residents, so a quiet room goes a long way 🐶🐱

Tampa's story can't be told without the Cuban and Spanish immigrants who helped build it. 🏛️ It started in 1886, when Vicente Martinez Ybor opened his cigar factory and a new neighborhood began to take shape around it. Before long, thousands of skilled cigar workers had made Tampa the Cigar Capital of the World. 🌿

What we love most about this chapter is how people looked out for each other. Mutual aid societies like Centro Asturiano and Centro Español gave families health care, schooling, and a place to come together. Neighbors caring for neighbors. ❤️

And that heritage is still everywhere you look today, especially at the lunch counter. 🥪☕ Fresh Cuban bread, a strong cafecito, and a Tampa Cuban sandwich are as local as it gets.

Oktoberfest Tampa brings German b**r, food, and music to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park October 9 through 11. And if you're seeing this today, tonight is the final night of Haunted Oktoberfest at The Cuban Club!

After all the fun, our residents get to unwind right at home with cozy evenings around the fire pit at Case Residences, golden hour on the patio at The William at Westshore, and a dip in the pool at Westshore Marina Flats 🔥🌅🏊
