Price isn’t the only thing sellers care about.
I’ve seen buyers win without having the highest offer because they had strong financing, clean terms, flexibility on the closing date, and gave the seller confidence the deal would actually make it to the closing table.
An extra few thousand dollars doesn’t always beat certainty.
That’s why writing a strong offer is about more than just the number. It’s about understanding what’s important to the seller and positioning your offer accordingly.
Sometimes the highest offer wins. Sometimes the offer that feels most likely to close wins.
