Higher wages are coming to Montgomery County ๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ“ˆ

Beginning July 1, 2026, the countyโ€™s minimum wage will increase to reflect inflation.

New hourly rates include:

โœ”๏ธ $18.00 for large employers
โœ”๏ธ $16.50 for mid-sized employers
โœ”๏ธ $15.95 for small employers

According to county officials, full-time workers could earn hundreds of dollars more per year as a result of the adjustment.

The annual increase is tied to inflation and is part of a local law designed to help wages keep pace with rising costs.
