Some of the ones that you think are going to be so smooth wind up with the most challenges. This home was listed and went under contract 2 days later. That was March 29th. We closed June 2nd and not because an extended closing timeframe was requested. I won’t go into the details, but curve ball after curve ball was thrown our way, and we caught every one. There was a great deal of frustration and some tears along the way, but I helped my seller get through it all, and closing day was indeed a happy one for her. Your real estate agent is your champion, your warrior- the person who gets you across that finish line. We may be bruised and bloody, but we made it. When I tell you I love what I do, I genuinely mean it- good times and bad. I’ve got you. I also have to say that my client was an absolute super star- rolled with the punches, was extremely resilient, went above and well beyond what anyone would have expected, stayed positive and never gave up. I have the utmost respect for her and would gladly do it all again for her. It is about the people-helping them achieve a goal or solve a problem (sometimes multiple problems), and being able to help wonderful people is immensely satisfying. I will say it again, I love what I do.
