The Bigger Project . . .

For the past several years, much of my focus has been on restoring and repositioning a very special property in Preston, Connecticut.

What began with with a small dream has grown into The Cottage Inn at Amos Lake and has gradually become something much larger.

The property combines an historic 1804 farmhouse, hospitality, agricultural land, vineyard surroundings, and an opportunity to create a destination that respects the history of the property while giving it a sustainable future.

The long-term vision goes beyond operating a small inn.

It is about bringing together hospitality, agritourism, events, local tourism, and thoughtful redevelopment in a way that complements what already makes southeastern Connecticut special.

Projects like this rarely happen overnight. They require patience, capital, persistence, and a willingness to keep adapting when circumstances change.

There is still a great deal of work ahead, but I’m looking forward to sharing more of the project, the property, and the thinking behind where we hope to take it.
