A new sign has been placed outside The Machine Shop on campus, and it’s another exciting step forward for Belle City Square.

Inside the building, you’ll find some amazing businesses already calling it home, including Tantava Yoga The Spindle and Racine County Eye, with Lee's Deli coming soon!

It’s exciting to see the historic buildings on this campus continue to be restored and filled with local businesses that make our community so vibrant. If you’re driving by, keep an eye out for the new sign and stop in to check out everything happening inside!

🧵 The Spindle
Think of this as the Belle City Square tailor… but cooler. Whether you’re finally learning how to use that sewing machine you’ve been staring at for years, want a quick 30-minute lesson, need help with a personal sewing project, or are looking for fun kids classes, Spindle has you covered.
From weekly beginner group classes to 6-week deep-dive courses, birthday parties, and even fashion designer mentorships, creativity starts (and grows) here.

🚧 Construction is officially underway at Lee’s Market!

Take a peek inside Lee's Deli right now, you’ll spot the first signs of transformation as work begins on bringing Lee’s Market to life right here in Belle City Square. We’re so excited to watch this space take shape and can’t wait to share more progress along the way.

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news for the Belle City Square community! 🎉

Lee's Deli is officially expanding to our campus with a new concept: Lee’s Market, opening inside the historic Machine Shop.

For decades, Lee’s has served Racine as more than just a deli, they’ve been a community engine, a workforce-builder, and a trusted neighborhood resource. Their expansion into Belle City Square will bring fresh food access, daily foot traffic, and a community-centered grocery and deli to an area long identified as a food desert.

Construction on the new space will begin soon, and we are proud to welcome Nate and the Lee’s team as they begin the next chapter of their mission here at Belle City Square.

We’ll be sharing updates and behind-the-scenes progress as Lee’s Market comes to life. Stay tuned, big things are ahead for our campus and our community.

Racine County Eye is an independent, community-powered newsroom dedicated to producing fact-based, people-centered journalism that informs, connects, and empowers our local community. Since 2013, they’ve been a trusted voice for Racine County, telling the stories that matter most and driving meaningful conversations that strengthen our neighborhoods.
