Unpopular opinion: Dollywood > Disney

Not here to start a war. Just sharing the facts from someone who actually went:

✅ Cheaper tickets
✅ Better rides (like much better IMO)
✅ Better food
✅ Longest we waited for a single ride? SIX MINUTES.
✅ Cooler temps, way less crowded, zero chaos
✅ Paid for our resort stay entirely with credit card points

Staying on resort gets you into the park a full hour before the public. We rode all 4 of the most popular rollercoasters before anyone else even walked through the gates.

Family vacation without the Disney spiral? Yes please. Dolly really doesn’t miss. 🌸

Harris kids are in the back - they rode it 5 times

We got soaked which didn’t suck because it was 97 degrees

Like REALLY soaked!

Covert mission: accepted 🥷🏼

My girl and I suited up, grabbed our supplies, and snuck out under cover of daylight (okay, it was 4:15pm, but still) to pull off the most important op of the year — surprising her brother with a birthday rock outside his school.

She took the whole ninja thing very seriously. I mostly tried not to trip over my own feet.

There is truly nothing like watching your kids love on each other — even when one of them has no idea it’s happening yet. 🥹 This is the stuff I want to remember forever.

Happy birthday to my boy. You are so very loved.
