Thirty years. (Not a retirement post)
Today you hit 30 years. 30 years of answering the call, putting others first, missing holidays, working long nights, and carrying responsibilities that most people will never truly understand.
I’ve had the privilege and honor of seeing the man behind the badge. The husband who loves his family with everything he has. The dad our children look up to. The humble man who has never looked for recognition, only the chance to work hard, serve others, and protect his community.
There have been so many sacrifices along the way. Birthdays, weekends, holidays, missed games, late-night calls, and the moments when duty had to come first. It wasn’t always easy, but somehow you always found a way to be there for us too.
You’ve given our family an incredible life, but even more than that, you’ve shown our children what honor, integrity, kindness, and service truly look like. That’s what we admire most about you.
To so many people, you’re Lieutenant Ramirez.
To us, you’re home.
You’re our hero, not just because of the badge you wear, but because of the man you are when you take it off. The husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and role model you are every single day.
Thank you for every sacrifice you’ve made over the last 30 years to protect people you’ll probably never meet, while never losing sight of the people waiting for you at home.
Congratulations on 30 incredible years. Not many people can accomplish everything you have and still love what they do with the same passion you do. We are beyond proud of you, so grateful for you, and we love you more than words could ever express.
Congratulations M.A. Ramirez aka hubby! I love you so much and you deserve so much!
