Heat & Home:

Keep thermostat 68°–72°; close unused rooms.
Layer up, use blankets, and stay in one room if possible.

Space heaters:
Only in occupied rooms, auto shutoff, 3’ from flammables.

Pipes & Water:

Drip faucets along exterior walls (hot & cold).
Open cabinet doors under sinks.
Outdoor spigots: fully closed & insulated.
Fill bathtubs & coolers for backup water.

Food & Power:

Stick to basics: milk, bread, eggs, water, easy foods.
Charge phones, power banks, and flashlights; have spare batteries.
Keep half a tank of gas and windshield wipers up.

Safety First:

Avoid grills, generators, or gas stoves indoors.
Check on neighbors who may need help.
Use oil lamps carefully, ventilated and never unattended.

Remember: ❄️ Prepare before the cold hits, not during it!
