Amongst the craze of May and the spring market, this beautiful home officially closed on Friday, and it belonged to my parents. ❤️

For the last 25 years, my mom and dad poured so much love and care into this home, and I’m incredibly proud of the work they put in to prepare it for the market. They trusted my process completely, and together we created a plan to maximize their investment.

“Do you want to go on a walk?”
Always yes 🤍

For as long as I can remember, my daily walk, even if it’s only 10 minutes, has been a non-negotiable for me. It’s my reset, my fresh air, my little pause in the day.

Yesterday, for Harry’s birthday, we spent part of the day doing one of our favorite simple things together, taking a walk through the newly reopened wildlife trail at Maymont with the girls. It felt like the sweetest way to celebrate him and slow down for a little while.

And truly, if you live here or are just visiting, Maymont is a must.

Bring a picnic, feed the animals, wander through the wildlife trail, take the kids to the nature center, soak in the Japanese gardens, tour the mansion… and somehow so much of it is FREE, which honestly makes it even better.

We do love our membership though, unlimited access to the Robins Nature Center, discounts on programs/events, member-only perks, and supporting one of the best places in Richmond feels worth it every time. 🤍

PSA: there are definitely lots of hills on this trail, and while it is accessible, it may not feel accessible for everyone depending on mobility/strollers/etc. Just something to keep in mind before you go!
