Old-world European charm, reimagined. ✨

For this bathroom, our client wanted a space that felt collected, romantic, and timeless—as though it had always belonged in a beautiful European country home.

Every detail was thoughtfully designed, from the custom vanity and sculpted Taj Mahal quartzite backsplash to the European-inspired mural that completely transforms the room. We even customized the tub, giving it a little personality of its own.

And one of our favorite details? The shower floor. We took the tile used throughout the bathroom, broke it by hand, and reimagined it as a one-of-a-kind mosaic—because sometimes the smallest details make the biggest statement.

A little French country, a little old-world Europe, and completely unique to our clients. 🤍

From sun porch to seamless extension of the home…

A one-season porch just off the kitchen has been thoughtfully reimagined to create the space this family needed without losing the character that made the home special in the first place.

Are you ready to reimagine your home?

Some weekends remind you exactly why you love this team. 🤍

Saturday was one of those as we gathered at The R House in Ridgefield, Connecticut, to celebrate Kim’s wedding—and what an absolutely perfect day it was.

The weather was beautiful, the venue was stunning, the food was delicious, and the dance floor definitely got its workout. 💃 Everything came together exactly as Kim had hoped, and seeing her so incredibly happy was the best part of all.

We were so honored to be part of such a special day and loved having our Jill Rae Designs team together to celebrate Kim and her new husband, Bob. 🥂

Congratulations, Kim & Bob! Here’s to a lifetime filled with as much love, laughter, and happiness as Saturday. 🤍✨

A foyer should do more than welcome you in — it should tell you something about the home before you’ve even seen the rest of it. ✨

For this New Canaan home, we took inspiration from the movement and softness of water, creating an entry that feels organic, sculptural and completely one-of-a-kind.

A custom STARK rug was designed to mimic the movement of flowing water, while the custom light fixture above gives the illusion of bubbles gently floating down from the ceiling. Natural materials bring warmth and balance throughout the space — from the beautiful wood staircase to the custom walnut entry bench.

The result is a foyer that feels quiet and sophisticated, but still has that little bit of magic we love. 🤍

Custom details. Natural materials. Thoughtful design. Because the entrance to your home should set the tone for everything that follows.

Still buzzing from last night! ✨

Our 5th Annual Housatonic Habitat for Humanity Gala was an incredible success, and we are truly overwhelmed with gratitude.

To our sponsors, donors, volunteers, committee members, friends, and every single person who showed up and supported us — THANK YOU. ❤️

Five years in, and this community continues to show us what can happen when people come together for something bigger than themselves. Last night wasn’t just a beautiful celebration — it was about building homes, creating opportunities, strengthening our community, and changing lives.

We set the bar high this year… and somehow, together, we absolutely crushed it. 🙌

I’m so incredibly proud to be part of this organization and so grateful to everyone who helped make last night possible. It truly takes a village — and ours is pretty amazing.

Here’s to five incredible years and to everything still ahead. 🏡❤️

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

A home is more than four walls. It’s stability, possibility, and a place to build a future. 💙

This video by Jude Charles, the filmmaker behind my mini docu-series, takes us back to the groundbreaking of the Rae of Hope House—a project close to my heart and a reminder of why Habitat’s work matters. The new homeowner will also be joining us at the gala, making the evening even more meaningful.

This Thursday, October 1, we’re gathering at Le Chateau for Housatonic Habitat for Humanity’s Blueprints & Denim Dreams Gala. I’m proud to serve as chair, and Rob is taking the microphone as this year, with his friend Mike DePalma as emcee! Together, we’re helping support safe, affordable homeownership for local families.

The auction is open! With just two days to go, now’s the time to browse, bid, or donate before gala night. Every contribution helps build opportunity—and hope. 🏡✨
