Olmsted County has created a free property notification program that allows homeowners to subscribe and receive alerts if anything is recorded against your property. This can help you quickly catch potential fraudulent activity involving your home or land.

Other counties in the area are currently working on adopting similar programs as well.

"Samantha has been absolutely incredible to work with. She has been helping us since the fall, and we just closed on our home. As a first time home buyer, I had a TON of detailed and sometimes intricate questions, and she patiently answered every single one of them. She guided us through the entire process, from helping us decide whether renting vs. buying made sense, to finding a lender, identifying the right home, navigating insurance, and everything else that comes with purchasing a house. She always took the time to explain things clearly, knowing this was our first time going through the process. She has responded to any and all of our texts, emails, and calls incredibly quickly, regardless of the day or hour.

What really stood out to me was that you could tell she genuinely cared about getting us into the best home possible, not just making a sale. During home tours, she consistently pointed out both the positives and the potential concerns, which was incredibly valuable given our lack of experience. That honesty built a lot of trust.

Even after closing, Samantha has continued to go above and beyond in ways I never expected. For example, when there was an issue with our fence that the seller claimed to have fixed but hadn’t, she helped facilitate getting the situation resolved and making us whole, even after the transaction was completed. She even personally went to the property and secured the fence with screws before a recent storm rolled in because I wasn’t able to be there yet.

She has also offered to help with things like collecting our mail while we’re not moved in yet and switching on the AC when needed. She even offered to buy us a new garage door opener when one wasn’t provided by the sellers. These are just a few examples of the many ways she has gone far above and beyond what is expected of a real estate agent.

I truly can’t recommend Samantha highly enough. If you want someone knowledgeable, responsive, honest, and genuinely invested in your best interests, especially as a first-time home buyer, you will be in excellent hands."
