FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER SERIES | WEEK 3: MAKE AN OFFER & PROTECT YOURSELF

You found the one. Now the excitement really starts, but this is also where having the right guidance matters most.

Making an offer is about more than choosing a number. We’ll look at the home, the market, your budget, the terms of the offer, and what makes sense for you before anything is submitted.
And once that offer is accepted, we keep doing our homework.

A home inspection gives you a closer look at the condition of the property and can uncover things you may never notice during a showing. Your lender may also require an appraisal to help determine the home’s value as part of the financing process.

These steps serve different purposes, but both can be important pieces of making an informed purchase.
I always tell my buyers: loving the home is important, but understanding what you’re buying is just as important.
