More affordable housing has arrived in Rogers!

Walnut Commons, a new $13.2 million housing development by Excellerate Foundation, has officially opened with 60 apartments featuring one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans.

Monthly rents range from $400 to $900 for qualifying residents, offering another housing option in a region where affordability has become a growing concern.

The development is also located in an area of Rogers heavily impacted by the May 2024 tornadoes, bringing new housing to a community that's still rebuilding.

Big housing developments are in the works for Benton County!

Calara is working on three residential projects in Bentonville and Rogers, representing an estimated $565 million in investment and more than 1,100 potential new homesites.

The largest project alone could bring approximately 900 homesites to Bentonville near Windmill and Morning Star roads.

That's a lot of new housing planned for Benton County!

More outdoor recreation is on the way in Bentonville!

NWACC has been awarded a $680,000 grant to add a new bike loop, lighted pickleball courts, a multipurpose sports court and other outdoor amenities to its campus.

The bike loop will connect to the Arkansas-Missouri Trail, adding another recreational destination along Northwest Arkansas’ growing trail network.

The project is expected to open in spring 2027.

Another major piece of Northwest Arkansas’ growth is taking shape in Bentonville.

The AWSOM Whole Health Campus has officially broken ground, marking the beginning of a 120+ acre health care campus designed to expand access to specialty care closer to home.

The first building is planned to open in 2029, with cardiac care, orthopedics, gastroenterology, and neurology among the specialties planned for the initial phase. This new campus will add to the health care resources available to residents across Northwest Arkansas.
