''Mommy, we’re home.”

Three words a child should never have to wait to say. In Los Angeles County, family homelessness rose nearly 6% last year. Behind that number are mothers carrying children through some of the hardest moments of their lives, searching for a place where their family can finally exhale.

At Seton House, we walked alongside mothers and children this past year who arrived with very little and left with stable footing, permanent housing, and a new chapter ahead of them. This Mother’s Day, we honor every mom fighting for a safe place for her family to land. Swipe through to read one mother’s words, in her own voice. 🤍

To honor a mother in your life and support the next family who walks through Seton House’s doors, visit our link in bio.

This Monday is the Restoring Hope Golf Classic.

As players take to the course, they are doing more than enjoying a great day of golf. They are helping restore hope for children and families across our community.

We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, players, and partners who have made this event possible.

Together, we are making meaningful impact.

For 170 years, Maryvale has been showing up for children and families across Los Angeles. This year, we’re asking our community to carry that legacy forward. We’re inviting YOU to perform 170 Acts of Kindness in 2026 and document them with us. Buy a neighbor a cup of coffee. Mentor a young person. Donate what you can. Write a letter that lifts someone up. Volunteer an afternoon. No act is too small. Do something kind then post about it and tag so your act gets counted toward our goal of 170 by December 31. Together, 170 small kindnesses become something extraordinary.

Do your first act of kindness this week — then come back and tell us what you did. We’ll feature our favorites.
