Interest rates get a lot of attention—but your interest rate is only one piece of the home-buying puzzle.

What ultimately matters to your household budget is your total monthly housing payment.
That can include:
✔ Principal & interest
✔ Property taxes
✔ Homeowners insurance
✔ HOA fees
✔ CDD fees, when applicable
✔ Mortgage insurance, when applicable

Instead of asking only, “What's the interest rate?”, also ask:
“What will this home actually cost me each month?”
