The Washington County Board of REALTORS® is proud to recognize Lori Chapman, Past President of both the Washington County Board of REALTORS® and the Utah Association of REALTORS®, on her induction into the National Association of REALTORS® RPAC Hall of Fame.

This prestigious recognition is awarded to REALTORS® who have achieved a lifetime investment of $50,000 in the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to protecting private property rights, promoting homeownership, and advancing the interests of the real estate industry through advocacy.

Lori's induction reflects not only a significant financial investment, but also a lifelong dedication to the REALTOR® organization and the issues that matter most to property owners and real estate professionals. Through her leadership at the local and state levels, Lori has consistently championed the importance of political engagement and advocacy in protecting the American Dream of homeownership.

Exciting Changes Are Coming to WCBR & SURE!

You may start noticing a fresh new look from both the Washington County Board of Realtors® and SouthernUtahRealEstate.com.

Over the past several months, we've been working with a professional branding team to strengthen how we communicate, connect with our community, and showcase the value of the REALTOR® profession throughout Southern Utah.

Beginning June 8, updated branding will start appearing across our websites, marketing materials, and advertising throughout Washington County and beyond. Additional enhancements will continue rolling out throughout the summer.

While the look may be changing, our mission remains the same: supporting REALTORS®, connecting consumers with trusted local real estate professionals, promoting homeownership, and providing valuable resources for those buying, selling, and exploring real estate opportunities in Southern Utah.

We look forward to sharing this next chapter with you!

Local elections play a major role in shaping the real estate landscape in Washington County.

For REALTORS®, these elections are especially important because local leaders make decisions that directly impact:
-Housing supply and affordability
-Land use and zoning regulations
-Infrastructure and utilities that support growth
-Economic development and community planning
-Property rights and development policies

County Commissioners, City Councils, and Planning Commissions help determine how, and where, Washington County grows, which directly affects clients, transactions, and the overall housing market.

Washington County Primary Elections are June 23rd — Mark your calendar and take a moment to check your voter registration.

We simply cannot afford to sit on the sidelines. REALTORS® advocate for homeownership, property rights, and strong communities—and local elections play a key role in protecting the future of housing in Washington County. Your vote is your voice, and in local elections, it carries significant weight.

Yesterday we had the privilege of attending two closings to present two of the eight $5,000 REACH Down Payment Assistance Grants awarded in this round. 🎉🏡

Moments like these are what the REACH Grant Program is all about, helping buyers overcome one of the biggest barriers to homeownership: the down payment. Through this program, eligible buyers receive direct financial support to help make purchasing a home possible.

We’re proud to see these grants making a real impact right here in our community and helping more families achieve the dream of homeownership. Congratulations to the new homeowners and everyone involved in making these closings happen!

The 2026 Parade of Homes was a huge success! 🎉

7,022 tickets sold at the WCBR office. That's 738 more than last year!

47,673 tickets distributed overall, up 3,700 from 2025

448,012 home visits, an increase of 36,422 from last year.

Congratulations to the Southern Utah Home Builders Association on yet another outstanding Parade of Homes. Year after year, this event continues to grow and raise the bar.

A big thank-you as well to our incredible Washington County Board of REALTORS® staff for their dedication and ticket sales support. This kind of teamwork is what makes it all possible.
