Balayage Blonde’s new space is the result of years of deliberate, thoughtful work. From the beginning, owner Jess Farkas knew she wanted to open in a community that felt established, vibrant, and aligned with the clients they serve, shaping an experience where time feels respected, clients feel genuinely cared for, and her team has room to grow. Working alongside Kevin Yeager at CPR for the second time, she approached the search with the same care she brings to her craft, evaluating not only visibility but how layout, natural light, salon flow, parking, and surrounding businesses would support the full client journey. Many of the salon’s clients are local women who intentionally support small businesses, and Jess takes that responsibility seriously.
Rooted in St. Pete’s creative, community-driven culture, the final location reflects Jess’s long-term vision built through patience, resilience, and countless behind-the-scenes decisions. From training and internal systems to creating a team-first culture that now supports 15 talented, ambitious women, the result is more than a beautifully designed salon; it’s a business grounded in place, people, and purpose.
