RESIDENTS join us Saturday, August 1st, from 12 PM - 3 PM at the Clubhouse for an afternoon of fun, food, and FREE school supplies!
✅ FREE backpacks with school supplies (while supplies last)
🌭 Hot Dogs & 🍔 Cheeseburgers
🍪 Snacks & treats including cotton candy and snow cones

Food pantry delivery for today was cancelled; we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The next pantry is scheduled for 8/6/2026 at the Clubhouse at 12:30PM.

We do have Collette at the clubhouse today to aid those in need of assistance programs, including food assistance.

🚨 WEATHER ALERT FOR SILVER LAKE RESIDENTS 🚨
A weather system currently off the coast of Pinellas County has the potential to develop into a tropical storm this weekend. Forecasts are calling for heavy rainfall, strong winds, and possible flooding throughout our area, and a Flash Flood Warning is currently in effect due to the significant amount of rain expected over the next several days.
🌧️ Your safety is our top priority! Now is the time to prepare your home and surrounding areas before conditions worsen.
✅ Secure or bring inside outdoor furniture, grills, decorations, potted plants, and trash containers.
✅ Remove loose items from balconies, patios, porches, and other exterior areas that could become airborne during high winds.
✅ Ensure doors and windows are properly closed and secured.
✅ Clear drains and surrounding areas of debris to help reduce flooding risks.
✅ Charge phones, backup batteries, and other essential devices.
✅ Stay informed by monitoring local weather updates and emergency alerts.
⚠️ Please avoid driving or walking through flooded areas. Remember: Turn Around, Don't Drown.
📞 AFTER-HOURS EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
If an emergency occurs outside of business hours:
1️⃣ Call the appropriate emergency authorities first (911 or the applicable emergency service).
2️⃣ Then contact our After-Hours Emergency Line at 727-525-8350, Option 3.
This is the only effective way to reach office staff and maintenance personnel outside of business hours and allows us to respond as quickly as possible when it is safe to do so.
We understand severe weather can be stressful, and we encourage everyone to take precautions, check on neighbors when possible, and prepare now rather than later.

Memorial Day Cookout Fun at Silver Lake! 🌭🍔
A big thank you to all of our residents who joined us today for our Memorial Day cookout from 1–3 PM — we had such a great time with you! 😊
From hot dogs and cheeseburgers fresh off the grill (shoutout to Christopher for absolutely crushing it 🔥), to baked beans, potato salad, desserts, fresh watermelon, and even ice cream — it was a full afternoon of good food and even better company.
We loved seeing about 30 residents stop by throughout the day, including some new faces and some returning friends who came back for more fun! It was also a wonderful chance to introduce our new Assistant, Nairobi — we’re so glad many of you got to meet her.
If you couldn’t make it this time, we missed you and hope you’ll join us at our next event! These gatherings are such a great way to connect, enjoy some delicious food, and spend time together as a community.
