Sometimes the home you don’t buy leads you to the one you were meant to find. 🏡❤️

These two were searching for a long-term home—a place to put down roots and start their family. After a couple of months, they found a home that checked some of the boxes and went into escrow…but something just didn’t feel right. It felt a little more like settling than finding their home.

After some honest conversations, they made the decision to walk away.

And just days later? The right one came along. ✨

Isn’t summer supposed to be the HOTTEST real estate market? ☀️🏡 Not always in San Diego.

Late summer can actually get a little quieter around here.

People are traveling, squeezing in those last beach days, getting the kids ready to go back to school… or hiding inside with the AC blasting. 😂

And that slower pace can create opportunity.

If you’re buying: fewer people out looking can mean less competition on some homes and a little more room to negotiate.

If you’re selling: your home may take a little longer to sell than you expected. That doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong—it may simply take a little more patience (and the right strategy).

Once vacations wrap up, school is back in session and everyone settles into their routines, we often see activity pick back up heading into fall. 🍂

So if you’ve been thinking about making a move, don’t automatically assume you should wait.

Sometimes a quieter market can work in your favor.
