Well, this is a little outside my comfort zone. 😅

Most days, I’m not thinking about rankings or awards. I’m thinking about inspections, contracts, deadlines, negotiations, and helping my clients get from where they are to where they want to be.

That said, I was recently recognized by RealTrends and ranked 157th out of all licensed real estate agents in North Carolina, which is both humbling and honestly a little surreal.

What this graphic doesn’t show are all the people behind that number.

The clients who trusted me. The friends, family, and past clients who referred me. The lenders, attorneys, inspectors, fellow agents, and everyone else who helps get our clients to the closing table.

And then there’s Jade Ripp♥️

While I’m out negotiating contracts, showing homes, solving problems, and helping clients navigate the process, Jade is behind the scenes making sure all the moving pieces stay on track. She keeps us organized, catches things before they become problems, keeps our clients informed, and somehow manages to keep me organized too.

The truth is, this business takes a village, and Jade is a huge part of mine.

Still surreal seeing 2024 and 2025 sitting side by side. 🥹🇺🇸

I’m incredibly honored to have been recognized again as a Top 1% Nationwide Network Agent with Veterans United Realty for 2025. But truly, this isn’t about awards or numbers to me.

Every family that trusted me through a PCS move, first home, retirement, deployment, tough negotiation, late-night panic call, or cross-country relocation is the reason this even exists. This recognition belongs just as much to my clients as it does to me. ❤️

One of my favorite lines from the note was:

That’s always been the goal. To make people feel taken care of, educated, protected, and never pressured.

✨ This season has me feeling everything ✨

As Christmas approaches, I find myself slowing down and really taking it all in. The closings. The keys. The hugs. The stories behind every family and every front door. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the people who have trusted me with one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

I love this job with my whole heart — not because of the houses, but because of the people. Because I get to walk alongside someone when they’re excited, nervous, hopeful, or scared… and stay there until the right home finally says Welcome Home 🏠 💙

Some journeys happen fast. Some take time. One of these clients I’ve been honored to work with for almost two years — waiting, watching, trusting the process until the perfect home came along. Lately I’ve been reflecting on just how grateful I am for this career. I recently had the privilege of helping three more amazing VA buyers close on their homes, and each one reminded me why I pour my heart into this job every single day. 🇺🇸❤️
