Out of the office, into Abiquiú.

Katya (our GM), Payton (Purchasing & Inspections), and Glory (Inspections) took a day away from the office to visit Ursula M. Luchetti-Jordan during this year’s Abiquiú Studio Tour.

A chance to spend time together, connect with Ursula, and admire her handcrafted jewelry—from delicate star earrings to an intricate butterfly design. These are the people and experiences that make Northern New Mexico feel so special.

The studio tour began in 1994 and has grown into a local tradition, inviting visitors into the creative world of Abiquiú and the Chama River Valley. This year’s 32nd annual tour took place October 10–12.

The Abiquiu Studio Tour is back this weekend! 🎨💍

What began in the late ‘90s as a handful of local artists opening their doors has grown into a vibrant, three-day celebration of Abiquius creative heart. It’s so much more than an event, it’s a living tribute to the bold colors, deep roots, and thriving art scene of this magical corner of New Mexico. ✨

We’re so proud that AVD’s own Ursula Luchetti-Jordan will be part of the tour, sharing her handcrafted silver jewelry inspired by the wild land she calls home. Make a day of it with a road trip from Santa Fe and come see why this tradition continues to inspire year after year! 🌞
