I thought I’d share where I lived from 2006–2020. Most of those years were spent with my late husband, the amazing Kevin Bagley. Kevin absolutely loved his houseboat life.

These photos were taken just after our 2017–2018 remodel, where we nearly gutted the kitchen and bathrooms and updated much of the rest of the boat as well.

Ironically, the houseboat was actually larger than the house I live in now, about 1,260 sq. ft. It was a rare dual stern paddle wheeler with fully functioning paddle wheels, and it carried a special place in Seattle houseboat history as the first officially plaque-designated Seattle houseboat: #700.

The KevLin was impossible to miss cruising Lake Union. We even had her moved by tug at one point, not exactly your average remodel project.

We also owned Hah Choo #701, which is a story entirely of its own… and yes, I’ll save that one for another post

Let me know if you have questions about the paddle wheel, I know every square inch of that boat.

Danny Evanger has put together two days for many of the Floating properties on Lake Union open house weekend 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday and Sunday the 16th and 17th. If you have wanted to see a Houseboat this would be a great opportunity to meet the brokers on the lake and see some of the available Floating properties.
