The Florida House passed a proposal that could eliminate most property taxes on primary homesteaded homes (except school taxes). It still needs Senate approval and voter approval, and could start as early as 2027.

Supporters say tax relief 👍 Critics worry about funding and shifting costs ⚖️ This is early, but it could impact buyers, sellers, and homeowners across Pinellas.
