One of the most expensive things I see homeowners and landlords put off?
TERMITE ISSUES.

And the scary part is… a lot of the time you don’t even realize how bad it is until walls are opened up or damage starts showing.

What starts as “maybe I should get that checked” can quickly turn into:
💸 Structural damage
💸 Damaged trim/floors/sheetrock
💸 Moisture issues
💸 Expensive repairs that insurance usually won’t cover

Here on the Gulf Coast, termites are unfortunately just part of homeownership. That’s why I ALWAYS recommend keeping an active termite contract on your home — even newer homes.

Routine inspections and preventative treatment can catch issues early before they become major (and very expensive) problems.

Preventative maintenance may not be exciting… but it’s a whole lot cheaper than rebuilding walls later.

15 years married. 16 years together. ❤️

Yep… we got married on our one year dating anniversary. 😂 Everyone thought we were a little crazy getting engaged just a few months after we started dating, but honestly… when you know, you know.

Over the years we’ve been through a lot together — the ups & downs, building businesses, remodeling projects that probably tested our patience 😅, raising kids, late nights, hard seasons, big laughs, and everything in between.

And somehow through all of it, he’s still putting up with my late night real estate phone calls, contract deadlines, last minute showings, and nonstop emails. 😂 He has always supported my dream of building a career in real estate, even during the busiest and most stressful seasons, and I’ll never take that for granted.

At the end of the day, we’re still each other’s best friend. And I truly believe that when you continue to prioritize friendship, God, and never stop “dating” each other, marriage can be an amazing thing.

15 years later and I’d still choose you every single time. ❤️

Don’t worry though — I have plenty of backup helping me behind the scenes, so all messages, showings, contracts, and property management needs will still be handled while I’m away. 🙌

I may be a little slower to respond than usual, but I promise I’ll get back to everyone as soon as possible between beach views and frozen drinks. 😉
