Some of the best homes I’ve sold were almost crossed off the list before my buyers ever walked through the door.

Photos are important, but they don’t always tell the whole story.

Paint can change. Wallpaper can come down. Kitchens can be updated. But the location, the lot, the neighborhood and the way a home actually feels when you walk through it? Those are much harder to change.

My advice to buyers: don’t let something cosmetic keep you from seeing a home with real potential. Sometimes the house you almost skipped is the one you end up loving.

And for sellers, the lesson is just as important: presentation matters. Give buyers every reason to come through the door. 🏡
