So yesterday was another day of firsts in my real estate career. I went to Baltimore to take possession back of a house that a horrible tenant had occupied (without paying rent, I may add). And to my surprise, I found this cutie locked in the basement without food or water. My guess is he was locked away for 4 days before I arrived and if I hadn’t gone yesterday, who knows what his outcome would have been. He was super sweet and I was able to find some food upstairs and to say the least, he was very grateful! I ended up taking him to the Baltimore County Animal Shelter and I hope he gets adopted soon! I’ve had tenants leave many things when they move out, but never a dog!

Well, after a month on the market, we received an offer on our townhouse. Given the current interest rates, we didn’t receive the amount we initially anticipated, but we did receive an all cash offer with no contingencies and closing in two weeks. In this market, you have to weigh the pros and cons. The pros definitely made sense in our case. We close next week!

First time staining with oil based gel stain. I decided to keep the same color, just sand out and stain some discolored and scratched parts to make them look good as new. Can’t wait to see the finished product!

Sharing some pictures of our townhouse when we bought it and some of the changes we did while living there. We have had the house for 10 years. We were a couple of kids excited with our first home. We put a lot into it, including new roof, new windows, new HVAC, new garage doors and system. We refinished the deck and renovated two half baths. All new appliances. Now it’s time for one final remodel and get it on the market!
