Here's what you need to know about the The North Carolina Apple Festival !
🍎 Apple Festival & Labor Day Weekend Information
The North Carolina Apple Festival returns to downtown Hendersonville September 4–7, bringing a busy holiday weekend to the community!
🚧 Street Closures & Parking
• Main Street will close between Caswell and 7th Avenue beginning Thursday, September 3.
• No parking on Main Street after 2 p.m. between Caswell and 7th Avenue.
• City parking lots and the 5th Avenue parking deck will be available. The deck will be card-only with a $10 daily rate during the festival.
• The City Hall parking lot at 160 6th Avenue East will be designated accessible parking Saturday–Monday.
• Please follow posted signs in privately owned lots, as some charge for parking.
🐾 Festival Reminders
• Non-service animals are discouraged for their safety and comfort.
• Drones are not permitted in the festival area.
• Bicycles, skateboards and other vehicles are not permitted within the festival footprint.
• Bicycle parking will be available Friday and Saturday near the Ecusta Trail.
🍎 King Apple Parade
The King Apple Parade begins at 2:30 p.m. Monday, September 7. Additional street closures and traffic detours will be in place before and during the parade. Plan ahead and allow extra time when traveling through downtown.
🚜 Hendersonville Farmers Market
The Farmers Market will be held Saturday, September 5, from 8 a.m.–1 p.m. on Maple Street next to the Historic Train Depot.
🏛️ Labor Day City Office Closure
City of Hendersonville government offices will be closed Monday, September 7 for Labor Day.
Garbage, recycling and brush collection will also be delayed. Monday customers will be collected on Monday, September 14.
