To all my smart friends and followers.

I do a fair amount of Marketing on some of the known real estate platforms.

Recently there has been a barrage of requests from "potential " customers wanting information on listing.

Many have begun requesting or nearly instantly requesting zoom, or google meet call. No phone calls. Just zoom and other platforms.

I found this weird, as we have never spoken on the phone. Or more-so when their information is limited.

And things don't seem to add up.

What could be the Harm?

Always create the meeting link yourself and invite them.Verify Wiring Instructions: Remind clients to always call a verified number to double-check wire details .

Watch for Communication Red Flags: Be highly suspicious of "clients" who refuse to speak over a standard phone call, decline to meet in person, or rush into video calls before any initial vetting.
