Closing day is always special, but this one is a little sweeter because it's family. ❤️

For the past year, I've had the privilege of helping these two search for a place to call home. That's right... a whole year. There were moments when the perfect house seemed just out of reach, but one thing I loved about this journey is that we were never in a hurry to settle for "good enough."

Like me, their faith is rooted in the Lord, and together we prayed, waited, and trusted His timing. Looking back now, it's easy to see that every door that didn't open was leading them to the one that was meant to. When this home came along, it felt like it was placed right in front of us at exactly the right moment.

Watching them become first-time homeowners has been such a blessing, and I couldn't be happier for their little family.

I was looking back over my business today and realized that in just the first six months of this year, my sales volume has grown to 6 times what it was at this point last year.

It's crazy how much can change in a year.

What I'm most thankful for is that every transaction represents a real person or family who trusted me to help them through a major life decision. Buying or selling a home isn't something people take lightly, and I never take for granted the fact that so many people have chosen me to help guide them through that process.

This year has brought a lot of learning experiences, growth, challenges, and opportunities. There have been plenty of busy days, lots of miles driven, countless phone calls, and more cups of coffee than I'd like to admit. But I genuinely love what I do and the people I get to meet along the way.

To everyone who has trusted me, referred me, supported me, shared my posts, or simply encouraged me—thank you. Your support means more than you know, and I'm excited to see what the rest of the year has in store.

I’ve spent my early mornings this week so far doing Vacation Bible School at my church home Legacy Baptist!

It’s given me time to slow down a little, think, and focus some extra love on my special 3rd graders.

Today, we got to fill up the shoe boxes for Operation Christmas child that they all got to decorate Monday morning. Operation Christmas Child will always be an organization I’m very fond of, and Mrs. Dennington does a great job running the show with it at our local church! She is dedicated to these kids!

Today I also got to fill up a box, and taking that time to give back to somebody else, someone who really needs, it will really bring a refreshing feeling to your day.

After a full day of meetings, phone calls, and working behind the scenes for my clients, I wrapped up the evening by stopping by one of my listings to give it a little extra attention before upcoming showings.

Real estate isn't just about putting a sign in the yard and hoping for the best. It's about constantly looking for ways to make sure a home is presented at its absolute best. Sometimes that means answering late-night questions, coordinating details behind the scenes, or simply rolling up my sleeves and doing a little cleanup to make sure everything shines.

Another one is clear to close! 🎉🏡

I don't think this part of the process will ever stop being exciting for me.

A few weeks ago, this was just a conversation, a goal, and a lot of hope. Now we're only a few days away from closing, and these clients are about to be homeowners.

Moments like this remind me why I love what I do.

I'm so grateful for the families who trust me to help them through such an important season of their lives. Buying a home can feel overwhelming at times, and being the person they choose to call with questions, concerns, and big decisions is something I never take lightly.

Truthfully, seeing my clients get exactly what they were hoping for is the best part of this job. The commission check is nice, but watching someone realize, "This is really happening," will always be my favorite part.

Now we're in the final countdown... just a few more days until closing day! 🎊

I can't wait to hand over those keys and celebrate with them. 💚

There are moments in this business that remind me exactly why I do what I do, and messages like this are one of them. 💚

At the end of the day, real estate isn't just about contracts, inspections, or closing dates. It's about people. It's about families taking the next step toward the life they've been hoping for. Whether that's buying their first home, building their dream home, or starting a new chapter, being trusted to help guide that journey is something I never take for granted.

Reading reviews like this makes me feel like I'm doing something right. Knowing that my clients felt heard, supported, and cared for throughout the process means more to me than I can put into words. But if I'm being honest, all the credit belongs to God. He has opened doors I never could have opened on my own, and I know I wouldn't be where I am today—especially at my age—without His guidance, grace, and provision every step of the way.

As I continue to grow in this career, my prayer is that I can help many more families find exactly what they've been searching for, while always doing business honestly, reliably, and with their best interests at heart.
