The Woodlands is getting a Bar Bludorn this weekend!

They officially open Saturday on the Waterway at 25 Waterway Avenue.

Expect their upscale neighborhood tavern vibe with favorites like steak frites, oysters, roast duck and their Wagyu burger, plus a few dishes created just for The Woodlands location.

This is Bar Bludorn’s first location outside of Houston, so kind of a big deal for our little corner of the world.

Let’s talk new construction.

Right now, new construction can be a really good option for some buyers.

Builders are offering incentives that can make the numbers look very different than they might on a resale home, depending on the community, the home and what’s being offered.

That might mean help with closing costs, rate incentives, upgrades or other options that are worth comparing before you automatically rule new construction out.

And I love my builder friends. Truly.

But the builder’s sales team works for the builder.

So ideally, bring me with you.

But if you INSIST on going without me, message me first.

I have a list of questions I want you to ask before you fall in love with the model home, pick your lot and start choosing countertops.

If I was looking for a home under $250K and wanted to be close to The Woodlands, I-45, shopping, restaurants and everything you need day to day, I wouldn't skip this one.

It has a Conroe address, but the location might be a lot closer to where you want to be than you think.

And you still get a little more space and that country feel without being way out.
