This closing will always be special to me and it deserves a lil shout out 🫶🏽

I had the distinct pleasure of supporting one of my friends as her extended family relocated to Oklahoma. Little did I know that these two beautiful humans, Chuck and Toni, would become like family. They are the kindest souls and made the experience of finding a home halfway across the country fun and enjoyable — amidst the complexities that come with navigating a FSBO sale (iykyk).

They did something very special for me on closing day and it moved me to tears. On a day that’s meant to celebrate them, they came with thoughtful gifts in hand for me 😭 When I say the work I do is personal, this is what I mean. The people are what matter most in all of this, and to feel so appreciated by those you work for is the greatest gift.

We found such a wonderful home for them, and I’m incredibly proud knowing this home is not just a place to live, but another equity-positive asset contributing to generational wealth for their family 💜

So honored to have represented one of my very best friends —dating all the way back to freshman year of high school— on the purchase of her first home! She, her husband, and two little ones are so deserving of this💜 And, they’ll have the ability to add on to the home as their family grows, considering they scored a DOUBLE lot!! Did thatttt

I’ve also made some incredible new friends here recently! Even though they don’t plan on staying in Oklahoma longterm, I have a feeling our relationship will continue to be fruitful and lifelong. Such a beautiful family that I’m grateful to now know🫂 They’ve already volun(told) me I’m in charge of taking their son to his soccer practice🤣 We’re practically kin lol
