Ventura County Animal Services sent out an urgent message on Tuesday, May 23, that its dog kennels are at 117% capacity and 199 dogs are awaiting their "furever" homes.

And just like that, our market feels like like it did last year before interest rates started to rise. Lots of showings, multiple offers and closing over asking. It’s not as crazy though. But if inventory remains as restrictive as it is, I’m not so sure it won’t head back there.
