This beautiful family trusted me as they moved from Jersey to Vero Beach. They originally looked at a house I had listed. After showing the husband the home and learning more about them….I immediately knew it wasn’t the home for them. The wife was back in Jersey and we did everything virtually for her. After days of home searching with the husband and FINALLY finding their dream home…their closing day was during my vacation in Utah. 😫 While everything was spot on to close virtually….I STILL hadn’t met with the wife. Sooooooo….tonight I brought a bottle of wine 🍷 and a basket of goodies to celebrate. 🥂 🥳 What an amazing couple and a GREAT way to start my weekend!!!!

This was SUCH a fun transaction! I was able to work with friends from both sides. 🤩Representing the Sellers, who are also my friends, was fun on its own. 😍 THEN…my friend was the Buyer’s agent….🥳 SCORE!!!! Let’s just say that I TOTALLY dig his dry sense of humor 🤣, cheeky jokes, and business sense. When I started my real estate career…I couldn’t have imagined that it would fill my heart as much as teaching does. Yet each closing brings me such happiness….to watch the families that have trusted me…sit in happiness and excitement! Leaving the final walkthrough tonight with my buyers…a young family that has been through the trenches to find their home in Vero…left me with chills as I drove away. I’m always surprised by my involuntary response. I’m beyond grateful for this life I live!

Yesterday was an active day in my real estate world. While I was on my trip…boating Lake Powell in Arizona…MANY fires 🔥 arose that required my immediate attention. While my phone didn’t have service the entire time, I was able to work in between areas that my phone had a signal. My clients are VERY important to me. Not only did they close on their NEW home today {giving them more space}…but they also closed on the home they SOLD today! I feel so touched to represent them on both ends. 🥰They started off as complete strangers. I have to say….there’s something therapeutic about showing up to an inspection {wearing a T-shirt, leggings, sneakers, and no make up} to a vacant house…and enjoying the Power of the Pause!
