So glad I went early to kayak! Leaving after 11:15 was getting a little too hot for me! Couldn’t believe how many people were kayaking early and even more showing up when we were leaving.

Had a few brief conversations with fellow kayakers on the water! The gal on the paddle board standing up said she’s not great with balance but is very stable on the board! More power to her as I could not do it!

The fisherman with three rods in the water was catching today! He told me at 6:30 this morning he took a video of two deer swimming across the reservoir!

Now if only I could get out of this kayak more gracefully as right now I look like the biggest “klutz”!

Although I Love my Wake Forest, on the water it feels like I can be anywhere far from civilization!!!! Yes, I may be exaggerating a little bit, but ya’ll get the peaceful feeling!!!
